    On May 31-June 2, 2022, board member Bryan Cheeseboro traveled with members of Company B, 54th Massachusetts reenactors, to participated in the rededication ceremony of the Shaw/54th Massachusetts Memorial in Boston.

    Brian also paid a visit to the Old Massachusetts State House, which is the site of where the Boston Massacre occurred 252 years ago;

    Robert Gould Shaw's home on 44 Beacon Street.  The balcony of the home is where Shaw's parents watched him march off to war, as depicted in the movie Glory.  Sadly, they never saw him again, as he was killed on July 18, 1863, in the battle of Second Fort Wagner.
